Actively work on the preparation and defense of a PhD thesis in the field of Organic Synthesis within the Vroemans group, which specializes in designing, synthesizing, and applying organic molecules for sustainable chemistry. Responsibilities include performing research, publishing scientific articles, and carrying out teaching, research, and service support tasks for the Department of Chemistry. The role involves synthesis of (chiral) organic and heterocyclic molecules, green and biobased chemistry, and the synthesis and testing of polymer additives and self-immolative polymers, including analysis and purification using spectroscopic and thermal analysis techniques.
