**Job Description**
The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. candidate to join the NanoComputing Research Lab in the Integrated Circuits (IC) group, Department of Electrical Engineering. This position focuses on mixed-signal IC design for physics-based computing paradigms, specifically the design and implementation of Oscillatory Neural Networks (ONNs) to solve combinatorial optimization problems. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the ERC Consolidator Grant, THERMODON, aiming to explore and exploit ONNs for embedding graph-based problems challenging for classical computing architectures.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and simulation
• Familiarity with IC design tools and tapeout flow
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., SPICE, Cadence, MATLAB)
• A research-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and interested in collaborating with industrial partners
• Fluent in spoken and written English
