**Job Description**
This position offers PhD candidates an opportunity to pursue a doctorate in psychology while gaining valuable experience for a career in higher education and research. The role involves working within the discipline of psychology, affiliated with the PhD programme in Social Sciences at NTNU’s Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences. **Skills & Abilities**
• Very good oral and written presentation skills in English
• Publications in well-known scientific journals (preferred)
• Good knowledge of scientific methodology (preferred)
• Experience with scientific communication (preferred)
• Good oral and written presentation skills in a Scandinavian language equivalent to level A2 (preferred)
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a structured way, set goals, and make plans to achieve them
• Ability to present and discuss research with other professionals
• Ability to get involved and contribute constructively with feedback
• Ability to work constructively under pressure or in the face of adversity
• Show curiosity and a strong motivation for the subject

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Master’s degree in psychology or equivalent (corresponding to a five-year Norwegian course, with 120 credits obtained at master’s level)
• Strong academic background from previous studies with an average grade from Master’s degree study, or equivalent education, equal to B or better compared to NTNU’s grading scale
Other:
• Meet the requirements for admission to the faculty’s Doctoral Programme
