**Job Description**
NTNU is offering up to two PhD research fellow positions within the field of psychology at the Department of Psychology. The positions are affiliated with the PhD programme in Social Sciences at the Faculty of Social and Educational Sciences. As a PhD Candidate, you will pursue a doctorate, conduct high-quality research, engage in academic publications and popular science dissemination, and participate in international activities, gaining valuable experience for a career in academia or beyond. **Skills & Abilities**
• Publications in well-known scientific journals (preferred)
• Good knowledge of scientific methodology (preferred)
• Experience with scientific communication (preferred)
• Good oral and written presentation skills in a Scandinavian language equivalent to level A2 (preferred)
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a structured way, set goals, and make plans to achieve them
• Ability to present and discuss research with other professionals
• Ability to get involved and contribute constructively with feedback
• Ability to work constructively under pressure or in the face of adversity
• Show curiosity and a strong motivation for the subject
• Be flexible and open to adjusting the plan for the project as needed
• Motivated to contribute to a positive working environment

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology (Master’s degree or equivalent, with 120 credits obtained at master’s level)

Other:
• Average grade from Master’s degree study (or equivalent) equal to B or better compared to NTNU’s grading scale
• Meet requirements for admission to the faculty’s Doctoral Programme
• Very good oral and written presentation skills in English
