**Job Description**
This PhD project, part of the interdisciplinary FWO-SBO funded ANTICIPATE project, aims to strengthen pandemic preparedness by developing AI-driven tools and epidemiological models. The focus is on early detection of novel pathogens through broad genomic screening and supporting hospitals in mitigating pandemic impact. The PhD candidate will be key in developing a novel AI-guided diagnostic platform for detecting novel respiratory pathogens to facilitate faster response.
