**Job Description**
This PhD project, part of the ELSA4TI initiative in collaboration with the University of Groningen, Tilburg University, and industry partners, aims to research the economic impact and responsible implementation of AI in high-tech industries. The candidate will evaluate Ethical, Legal, Social, and Economic (ELSA) aspects within the technical industry and advise firms on strategic AI use. The role involves developing decision-support tools and actionable insights for responsible AI adoption, including frameworks to balance AI investment and operating costs against measurable returns.

**Skills & Abilities**

• Aspiration to contribute to responsible and strategic AI implementation in high-tech industries.
• Ability to conduct diverse research methods including literature reviews, case studies, survey research, and scenario analyses.
