**Job Description**
This PhD position is focused on improving diagnostics and care for individuals with rare diseases. The candidate will develop statistical and computational methods to identify novel gene-disease associations, explore disease mechanisms, and connect genomic findings to clinical outcomes. The role involves participation in a large pan-European research initiative, analyzing multi-omics sequencing data from thousands of rare genetic disorder patients using distributed and federated computational approaches.

Annual Salary: €3,108 - €3,939 (monthly, based on a full-time appointment, progressing over 4 years) Benefits: 8% holiday allowance, 8.3% end-of-year bonus, 47% to 72% bonus for working unsocial hours, 176 vacation hours per year (based on a 36-hour working week).
