**Job Description**
This position involves joining a collaborative research program at the VIB-Center for Inflammation Research to study the molecular mechanisms driving liver regeneration. The project, supported by an ERC Advanced Grant, aims to understand and manipulate the molecular circuits coordinating tissue growth to enhance the liver’s regenerative capacity, moving beyond hepatocyte-centric views. The research will apply in vivo single-cell CRISPR technologies to unravel causal circuits driving regenerative programs in distinct liver cells, leveraging an interdisciplinary team with biomedical, technological, and computational expertise for the discovery of mechanisms from omics data.
