**Job Description**
This Ph.D. position aims to investigate how emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies redefine procurement strategies, leadership practices, and workforce development within a rapidly changing global context. The role involves conducting original interdisciplinary research on AI’s impact on procurement across various industries, with a focus on leadership challenges, the digital transformation of procurement tasks, and organizational interventions for workforce upskilling. Research will combine diverse methods including interviews, longitudinal field studies, experimental designs, and intervention evaluations, engaging with a broad community of academic, industry, and public-sector stakeholders.

Annual Salary: €36,708 - €46,572 gross per year (excluding holiday allowance and year-end bonus) Position Classification: Scale P according to UFO profile PhD Benefits: 8.0% holiday allowance, 8.3% year-end bonus, flexible working hours, possibility to work partly from home, monthly commuting and internet allowance, 29 vacation days + 4 additional public holidays per year (Carnival Monday, Carnival Tuesday, Good Friday, Liberation Day), option to accumulate 12 additional compensation days, personalized employment conditions through a collective labor agreement (CAO) choice model, good pension scheme with the ABP, opportunity to participate in company fitness, use of extensive sports facilities, wide range of training programs, support for personal and professional development.
