**Job Description**
The Taminiau Lab investigates solid-state spins and their applications for quantum science and technology, utilizing quantum optics, magnetic resonance, and nanoscale fabrication. The objective is to detect and control individual spins associated with defect centers to explore questions related to decoherence, emulate many-body physics, develop improved quantum sensors, and enable large-scale quantum computations. In this specific position, the candidate will work with a research team to realize complex coupled spin systems in diamond and silicon carbide to investigate time crystals.

• Experience with solid-state quantum systems, quantum optics, magnetic resonance, or nanofabrication (appreciated)

Annual Salary: In accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, increasing from Promovendus gross per month from the first to the fourth year based on a full-time contract (38 hours), plus 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
