**Job Description**
This PhD position focuses on Software Architectures and Mining Software Repositories within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The successful candidate will join the Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Programming Languages (ACP) section, contributing to research excellence in Software Engineering, particularly in applying Generative AI or addressing Software Architectures.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Fluency in English
• Experience in Software Architectures with a particular focus on Microservices and Distributed Systems
• Experience in Generative AI-driven Software Development and Maintenance
• Experience in Empirical Software Engineering
• Experience in Mining of Software Repositories and Issue Tracking Systems
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Computer Science (MSc or equivalent)
• Relevant MSc degree (for 3-year duration)
• Completed 1 year of relevant MSc studies (for 4-year duration)
**Experience**
Other:
• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Software Architectures (Microservices, Distributed Systems), Generative AI-driven Software Development and Maintenance, Empirical Software Engineering, Mining of Software Repositories and Issue Tracking Systems.
