PhD Position in Data Science for Energy Systems

**Job Description**
As part of an interdisciplinary team, the role involves developing approaches for the automated and large-scale provision and integration of energy systems data and models, applying data science methods for transparent energy systems analyses. This includes processing, semantically enriching, and transferring collected data to a knowledge graph-based metadata platform. The position also focuses on developing methods to increase data and software interoperability for automated reuse of energy systems analysis processes, and designing FAIR and Linked Open Data compliant interfaces for scalable, transparent, and interoperable big data processing in AI-driven energy systems research.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Huge interest in data science and energy technologies
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and data analysis methods
• Programming skills, ideally in Python
• Independent and analytical way of working
• Reliable and thorough working style
• Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are advantageous
