**Job Description**
The successful candidate will pursue a PhD dissertation within KU Leuven’s highly-ranked PhD program, engaging in a management accounting and control research project involving experimental design and requiring strong programming and analytical skills. Responsibilities include conducting research, collaborating with a supervisory team and other project members, developing an international academic network, contributing to the scientific community through workshops and conferences, supporting teaching activities, and disseminating findings to various audiences.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Passionate about conducting research with impact
• Experience with data collection and analyzing data using quantitative research methods
• Great analytical skills and digitally savvy
• Comfortable using different statistical/programming tools
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work autonomously and as a good team player
• Proactive attitude and great writing skills
• Strong programming and analytical skills

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Business and economics
• Related fields
Specific: Master’s degree or equivalent, with a strong interest in management accounting and above-average academic performance.
