**Job Description**
This PhD position is in robotics, with a specific focus on state estimation, localization, and mapping (SLAM) in dynamic and uncertain environments. The research will involve the integration of commercially off-the-shelf sensors and the development of resilient algorithms that combine first-principles modeling with modern machine learning techniques. The primary objective is to advance robust perception capabilities for augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR) applications and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) operating in real-world, dynamic settings.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with programming languages (preferably Python, C/C++)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Motivated to conduct high-quality research with industrial and societal impact

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Robotics
• Mechatronics
• Computer Science
• Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• A related discipline
