**Job Description**
Applications are invited for a PhD position focused on robotics, specifically state estimation, localization and mapping (SLAM) in dynamic and uncertain environments. The research will center on the integration of commercially off-the-shelf sensors and the development of resilient algorithms that combine first-principles modeling with modern machine learning techniques. The goal is to enhance robust perception for Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) applications and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) operating in real-world, dynamic settings.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience with programming languages (preferably Python, C/C++).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated to conduct high-quality research with industrial and societal impact.
• Excellent English language skills.

**Qualifications**
