**Job Description**
The International Max Planck Research School for Sustainable Metallurgy offers six three-year Ph.D. positions focusing on sustainable metallurgy (experiment & simulation). The program, conducted entirely in English, aims to discover innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions during synthesis, enhance material durability, and improve recycling processes for a circular economy. It emphasizes an intensive interdisciplinary approach, integrating experimental, ab initio, multi-scale simulation, and machine learning techniques.
