**Job Description**
This PhD project, funded by NWO under the PERSIMMON project, aims to improve kidney transplantation outcomes by personalizing immunosuppression. The research will focus on gaining a better understanding of the pathophysiology of Antibody-mediated rejection (ABMR), the mechanisms underlying donor-specific antibody (DSA) formation/ABMR, and the specific role of innate immunity, particularly NK cells, in these processes to enhance ABMR treatment and kidney transplantation outcomes.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Highly motivated with an interest in laboratory work (cell culture, assays, flowcytometry).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a research group.
• Experience in the field of immunology or nephrology is an advantage.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomedical Sciences
• Medicine
• Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Biochemistry
• Related field
