**Job Description**
The project seeks a Ph.D. student to join an interdisciplinary team investigating the relationship between behavior and brain health. The focus is on developing novel measures of brain health by analyzing everyday behavioral patterns, extending existing research on smartphone interactions to individuals with epilepsy. This long-term study will explore how significant life events, such as seizures or daily stressors, are reflected in day-to-day behavior through the collection of behavioral, physiological, and brain measurements from a large cohort over several years.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Keen interest in neuro-behavioral sciences and a passion for behavioral signals.
• Demonstrable experience in advanced data analysis and data collection.
• Familiarity with machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Dutch (desirable but not required).
• Capacity to thrive in a complex and dynamic research environment.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Neuroscience
• Psychology
• Data Science
• Related field

• Strong track record in scientific exploration
