**Job Description**
The Shi lab at Rutgers University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to conduct cutting-edge research in biophysical chemistry and cell biology. This position offers two primary research topics: investigating the material properties of biomolecular condensates in mammalian cells and studying the activation and subcellular distribution of mechanosensitive membrane proteins. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility, contributing to research that uncovers the physical chemistry of cell biology and provides insights into disease mechanisms, including neurodegeneration and cancer.

• Proficiency with Micropipette manipulation and patch-clamp
• Proficiency with optical tweezers
• Proficiency with fluorescence microscopy
• Proficiency with cell culture
• Proficiency with AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy)
• Proficiency with EM (Electron Microscopy)
