**Job Description**
The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is seeking a Post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science, specializing in “Geometric Learning for Image Analysis”. This two-year, full-time postdoc position is part of the VICI Project (VI.C. 202-031, PI: R.Duits) and requires expertise in geometric image processing and machine learning. The role focuses on conducting research, publishing results, and collaborating with industry and health tech partners, with flexibility for creative adjacent research directions.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Research-oriented attitude with affinity for advanced formal mathematics (analysis/geometry), applied differential geometry and machine learning
• Solid publication record in image analysis, scientific computing or machine learning
• Knowledge and practical experience in at least 3 of the following areas: Image processing, partial differential equations, scientific computing, deep learning
• Solid programming skills, including knowledge of Python, Tensorflow/Pytorch, and Mathematica
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Good communication skills

Annual Salary: €50,892 - €66,456 (based on monthly gross salary scale 10: min. € 4,241 max. € 5,538) Benefits: Year-end bonus of 8.3%, annual vacation pay of 8%, high-quality training programs, excellent technical infrastructure, on-campus children's day care and sports facilities, partially paid parental leave, allowance for commuting, working from home and internet costs, TU/e Postdoc Association, Staff Immigration Team for international candidates, tax compensation scheme (the 30% facility), compensation for moving expenses.
