The Institute for Learning & Brain Sciences (I-LABS) at the University of Washington is seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) post-doctoral researcher. This role focuses on advancing early language research into educational classrooms, specifically developing language interventions and curricula for children aged 0-5. The researcher will join a multidisciplinary team to design and test programs for young children learning two languages, and to track the impact of bilingual language curricula on children’s linguistic, cognitive, and social skills. The overarching mission of I-LABS is to understand the mechanisms of human learning, particularly in early development.

• Some experience working in or with early education classrooms
• Interest in bilingual language interventions and curricula in early educational classrooms
• Knowledge and a portfolio of research with young children learning two languages
