Post-Doctoral Scholar

**Job Description**
The Markey Cancer Center is seeking a Post-doctoral scholar to conduct experiments with cultured insect cell line (S2 Cell Line) as well as vertebrate cell lines and perform experiments with Drosophila tissues. The scholar will also be involved in molecular biology work to generate cDNA plasmids for expression in various cells and fly body, responsible for keeping experimental records, and writing a draft manuscript for publication.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Molecular Cloning
• Western blot
• Cell culture and transfection

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomedical Sciences (PhD or MD)

**Experience**
Other:
• A few years’ experience in biomedical sciences (in addition to PhD)
