The Ohio State University’s William G. Lowrie Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking a creative Postdoctoral Scholar to work under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Kwon. The role focuses on advancing cutting-edge multiscale and hybrid modeling, integrating first-principles simulations with machine learning for chemical and biological applications. The scholar will design and implement models from molecular to process scales, develop control and optimization strategies, and contribute to sustainability and biomanufacturing challenges through research, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
