**Job Description**
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible postdoctoral scholar position, typically for 12 months with potential for a second-year renewal, designed as a career-building step for early-career scholars. The role focuses on research at the intersection of public affairs, race or ethnicity, and specialty areas such as housing, criminal justice, or early childhood policy. The scholar will divide their time between the Kirwan Institute and the Glenn College, engaging in collaborative research, initiating new funded projects, disseminating research findings, and actively participating in academic life and professional development programs.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Potential to conduct high quality research in public affairs and at least one of the following areas: housing, criminal justice or early childhood policy.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
• Requisite qualitative and quantitative data collection, coding, and analysis skills.
• Experience working with large administrative data sets.
• Experience with community engaged research or conducting research with state and local government partners.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Public Affairs
• Related field
