**Job Description**
The Ohio State University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join an interdisciplinary team led by Dr. Josh Leonardis. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead cutting-edge research related to musculoskeletal imaging, assistive technology biomechanics, and oncology. The Post Doctoral Scholar will collaborate with clinicians at the James Cancer Hospital, the Assistive Technology Center, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital to conduct human subjects research investigating neuromusculoskeletal health in manual wheelchair users and individuals undergoing or having completed breast cancer treatment.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Significant experience in biomechanical and musculoskeletal imaging data collection, processing, and analysis
• Significant experience writing custom analysis software (MATLAB, Python, R)
• Experience publishing original research in leading journals related to biomechanics, biomedical imaging, musculoskeletal health and function
• Demonstrated expertise in interdisciplinary research with technical and clinical teams and patients (desired)
• Experience leveraging machine learning for human musculoskeletal biomechanics applications (desired)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomechanics
• Biomedical Engineering
• Rehabilitation Engineering
• A related research doctorate field
