The candidate will use qualitative methodologies, system- and discourse-analytical tools, and institutional analysis to map value trade-offs and conflicts in the hydrogen economy. The role involves advising stakeholders on value-sensitive upscaling and implementation, assessing current policies, and presenting findings in reports and papers.

• Acquaintance with the energy system (advantage).

• Strong analytical skills combined with a creative and innovative approach.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Functional command of Dutch (advantage).

• Energy Policy
• Science and Technology Studies
• Policy Sciences (including Political Philosophy, Moral Philosophy, Discourse Analysis, Policy Analysis)
• Urban Studies
• Organization and Management Studies
• Another relevant interdisciplinary specialization
