**Job Description**
The Peng lab at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology in Utrecht is seeking a highly motivated postdoc to join their team. The lab focuses on understanding disease mechanisms and developing innovative therapeutic strategies for liver cancer and related disorders, leveraging state-of-the-art single-cell, spatial, and organoid technologies in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment. The project will involve deciphering disease origins, progression, regeneration, and cellular plasticity in liver cancer, utilizing advanced techniques and working closely with in-house technology platforms.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Expertise in one of the following areas: single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, whole genome sequencing, proteomics, organoid modelling, CRISPR screening.
• Expertise in liver biology, developmental biology, or cancer biology.
• Strong publication record.
• Creativity and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
