**Job Description**
The position involves one or more Postdocs in Computer Vision at the Visual Analysis and Perception Lab (VAP LAB) within the Department of Architecture, Design, and Media Technology. The successful candidate(s) will contribute to advancing research excellence in computer vision, with a focus on projects related to underwater vision, multimodal architectures, and computing for responsible AI. The role expands the lab’s previous focus on visual data to include other data modalities like textual data.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience as main author in peer-reviewed scientific publications
• Strong programming skills in Python and deep learning frameworks
• Documented expertise in one or more of the following project areas: underwater vision, multimodal architectures, and computing for responsible AI
• Experience with research collaborations beyond academia (desirable)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Computer Vision (Ph.D.)
