**Job Description**
This Postdoc position focuses on genome maintenance research, aiming to uncover new molecular pathways that resolve alternative DNA conformations (such as G-quadruplexes, hairpins, cruciforms, and triplexes) which can obstruct DNA replication and trigger genome instability. The project will utilize the Xenopus egg extract system to dissect mechanisms and identify proteins involved, combining state-of-the-art biochemistry with cell biology, mass spectrometry, and high-throughput sequencing. The research seeks to reveal how these structures influence cells and genomes, contributing to understanding neurological disorders and cancer.

Annual Salary: € 52,968 - € 66,456 gross per year (€ 4,414 - € 5,538 gross per month) Benefits: 8% vacation allowance, 8.3% year-end bonus, travel allowance, internet allowance, home working allowance, pension accrual with ABP. Excellent package of secondary benefits, with possibility to increase days off from 29 to 41 per year (with full-time employment).
