**Job Description**
Eindhoven University of Technology is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join their research team for an ambitious 2-year project within the Electromechanics and Power Electronics (EPE) Group. This role focuses on the reliability of next-generation SiC MOSFETs as part of a collaborative Horizon Europe initiative with industrial and academic partners. The research involves reliability analysis and diagnostics of medium-voltage SiC MOSFETs, including the development of advanced test platforms for device and packaging evaluation, aiming to support robust, long-term performance of SiC devices.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Background in power electronics, power devices and/or microelectronics
• Experience with experimental work for power electronics or microelectronics
• Ability to conduct high-quality academic research, reflected in demonstrable outputs
• Knowledge and experience with data analytics and the capability to quickly learn new hardware/software techniques
• Ability to independently organize work, solve problems, achieve desired goals, and cooperate with others
• Excellent communication and discussion skills
• Project management skills (a plus)
• Ability to participate in teaching and supervise BSc and MSc internships/graduation projects
• Good scientific writing and documentation skills
• Strong command of the English language

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Power electronics
• Power devices
• Microelectronics
Required Level:
• Ph.D.

Salary
Annual Salary: €42,552 - €66,456 (Based on monthly scale 10: €3,546 - €5,538) Benefits: Year-end bonus of 8.3%, annual vacation pay of 8%, high-quality training programs, excellent technical infrastructure, on-campus children's day care and sports facilities, partially paid parental leave, allowance for commuting, working from home and internet costs, TU/e Postdoc Association, Staff Immigration Team support (including 30% tax facility and moving expenses compensation).
