**Job Description**
This postdoctoral position, part of the Karolinska Institutet Research Incubator (KIRI), focuses on understanding how the circadian system coordinates communication between organs to maintain physiological balance. The project will combine chronobiology and cutting-edge proteomics to identify and characterize liver-derived signals that influence gene expression in other tissues, such as fat, via time-dependent protein secretion.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proficiency in Python or R for bioinformatic analysis
• Strong scientific communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Experience from work with cell culture systems (Meritorious)
• Previous research in circadian biology or endocrinology (Meritorious)
• Hands-on experience with plasma or tissue proteomics (Meritorious)
• Experience with collaborative projects in academia and/or industry (Meritorious)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Molecular biology
• Biochemistry
• Related field
Other:
• Ph.D or a foreign degree deemed to be equivalent to a Swedish Ph.D is required.

**Experience**

• Completion of doctoral degree within the last three years (considered an advantage)
• Experience working with mouse models (perform injection, organ/blood collection etc.)
