**Job Description**
We are seeking candidates for a post-doctoral position focusing on the field of correlated disorder in crystals. The role involves the measurement and modelling of diffuse scattering using X-rays, electrons, and neutrons to establish local structure and correlated disorder in advanced materials, including ultrafast femtosecond science. The project encompasses software development, conducting measurements at local and large international facilities, and developing relations between local order and material properties. The successful candidate will be involved in materials crystallography research in collaboration with other members of the Iversen group.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in materials crystallography.
• Experience with measurement and analysis of diffuse scattering.
• Proficiency in the 3D-DPDF method.
• Experience in writing scientific software (preferably).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Crystallography
• Physics
• Materials Science
