**Job Description**
Applications are invited for a Postdoc position within the INCREC project, funded by an ERC Consolidator Grant, focusing on understanding the creative process of translation of literary and audiovisual content and its reception by users, particularly concerning machine translation. The project aims to enhance MT use, improve the translator’s working environment, and user experience by triangulating data from eye-tracking, retrospective think-aloud interviews, translated material, diaries, and questionnaires from professional translators and users. The Postdoc will individually manage a work package and collaborate with the PI and existing team, focusing on analyzing user interaction with creativity in AVT, linking user attention and preference to creativity, and gathering data on error impact using mixed methods including eye-tracking, engagement questionnaires, and interviews.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience using eye-tracking as part of experimental research
• Experience with quantitative/qualitative methods (statistical methods and interview analysis)
• Experience as audiovisual translator (distinct advantage)
• Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish (advantage)
• Experience with AVT tools (advantage)
• Independent, proactive work ethic
• Flexible, mobile and internationally oriented mentality
• Excellent academic writing skills in English

Annual Salary: €56,736 gross Benefits: 8% holiday allowance, 8.3% end-of-year bonus, participation in a pension scheme for employees, favourable tax agreements for non-Dutch applicants may be applicable, 232 holiday hours per calendar by full-time employment.
