**Job Description**
The Peng lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoc to investigate liver cancer and related disorders that predispose to it. The primary goal is to decipher disease mechanisms and develop innovative therapeutic strategies using state-of-the-art single-cell, spatial, and organoid technologies within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. The project focuses on understanding disease origins, progression, regeneration, and cellular plasticity in liver cancer, childhood liver disorders, or developmental biology, tailored to the candidate’s interests.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong publication record, creativity, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English, excellent communication and team-working abilities.
• Expertise in one of the following areas: Single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, whole genome sequencing, proteomics, organoid modelling, CRISPR screening.
• Expertise in one of the following areas: Liver biology, developmental biology, or cancer biology.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• A related discipline (PhD)
