**Job Description**
A two-year Postdoc position in Criminology is available at Aalborg University, starting December 1st or as soon as possible thereafter. This fully funded role is part of a strategic initiative to enhance criminological research in cybercrime, carrying no teaching requirements. The successful candidate is expected to conduct independent research on cybercrime (cyber-enabled or -dependent, covering topics such as victimization, offenders, hybridization of crime, illicit online markets, fraud, and cybersecurity), apply for research funding in collaboration with departmental researchers, and produce international-level publications. The project may address national or international problems using qualitative and/or quantitative methods, with support for access to Danish data sources.

• Experience with publishing in international journals in criminology and related fields
• Ability to address national or international problems using appropriate methods (qualitative and/or quantitative)
• Clear potential to generate research at the international level

Required Degree(s) in:
• Criminology or a related field
• PhD-level or similar scientific qualifications

Other:
• Appointment as postdoc cannot exceed a period of four years in total at Aalborg University
• Appointment at postdoc level cannot exceed a period of eight years in total in Denmark (max. six years at Assistant Professor level, which includes postdoc, at the same institution)
