**Job Description**
The primary focus of this research position is to explore the impact of using generative AI to provide feedback on student learning. The role is based at the Aalborg Centre for Problem Based Learning in Engineering Science and Sustainability (UCPBL), working within a cross-disciplinary research team. A minor component of the position may involve teaching Problem-Based Learning (PBL) courses, conducting workshops, and providing consultancy services across various Engineering and Science programs at Aalborg University.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Research experience in evaluating student learning in STEM environments.
• Competence with a mix of methodologies, including primary data capture (e.g., interviews, surveys).
• Ability to analyze secondary data (e.g., access logs, transcripts from interactions, assessment outcomes).
• Prior experience with the use of generative AI in a learning context (advantage, not essential).
• Knowledge of engineering education (advantage).
• Teaching experience from a PBL environment (advantage).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Artificial Intelligence, Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
