**Job Description**
This postdoc position is within the ERC project ‘Global status, trends, drivers and impacts of non-native plant species in mountain ecosystems’ (GloNoMo) at the University of Basel. The project addresses the biodiversity crisis by identifying non-native plant species that may spread into natural mountain ecosystems before they become widespread. The role involves investigating the occurrence and spread potential of non-native plants in undisturbed habitats, identifying drivers beyond roads and trails, and classifying invasive species through field observations, experiments, and macroecological analyses using global monitoring data.
