The Postdoctoral Associate will lead experimental research focused on the regulation of expression and function of blood coagulation factors across various physiological and pathological states, including acute inflammation, chronic metabolic disease, and pregnancy. The role involves identifying underlying mechanisms, generating and characterizing novel transgenic mouse models, and applying both in vivo and in vitro experimental systems to advance understanding in this field.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Energetic, collegial, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Experience in biochemical and molecular biology methods to study blood coagulation factors in a disease-focused context (preferred).
• Prior experience with mouse models, primary cell isolation, histopathology, and a background in blood coagulation biology (beneficial, but not required).
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• PhD degree, preferably in pharmacology, toxicology, biochemistry, or similar life sciences.
• Candidates in ABD (all but degree) status will also be considered.
