**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Associate will be responsible for the design, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of experiments focusing on the molecular mechanisms regulating synaptic transmission in mammalian brain and human neurons. This role involves performing molecular, cellular, and/or electrophysiological experiments, actively participating in lab meetings, seminars, and conference presentations, preparing research manuscripts, assisting with the Principal Investigator’s grant applications, and pursuing personal grant funding.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Proficiency in whole-cell patch clamp electrophysiology
• Experience with behavioral testing in mice
• Proficiency in in vivo 2p imaging
• Strong data compilation and analytical skills
• Scientific communication and presentation skills
• Molecular, cellular, and/or electrophysiological experimental techniques
• Scientific writing for manuscript preparation
• Grant writing and development skills
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Neuroscience
• Biological sciences (relevant)

• PhD or MD degree required

• Must pass employee health clearance, TB Test and required safety training.
• Must follow all safety precautions in laboratory, as required.
