Postdoctoral Associate

**Job Description**
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi. This role, starting September 1, 2026, involves spending half time on independent research and half time on collaborative research with Drs. Leonid Peisakhin and Joan Barceló. The collaborative research focuses on political violence, with an emphasis on the legacy of conflict, transitional justice, and post-conflict reconciliation, with an open geographical focus. The position offers an opportunity to be part of a large interdisciplinary group of post-doctoral fellows and faculty, and while teaching is not required, it may be possible for compensation.
