Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Child Health Institute of NJ at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The role involves conducting and analyzing experiments focused on the development and function of novel immune cells, specifically exploring innate immunity in vital tissues like the lung and brain. The research investigates how interactions between immune and non-immune cells influence disease outcomes in airway and brain disorders. **Skills & Abilities**
• Strong interest in exploring novel immune cells and mechanisms of human health and disease
• Proficiency in flow cytometry analysis
• Experience with animal models of airway and brain disorders
• Expertise in single-cell RNA-seq
• Capability in multiplex cytokine assays
• Skill in immunofluorescence imaging
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• PhD degree in a relevant Biomedical Science (e.g., Immunology, Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology)
• Candidates in ABD (all but degree) status will also be considered.
