**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Associate will assist the Principal Investigator in the Department of Radiology, focusing on investigating generative models and their applications to next-generation MR image reconstruction. This role involves training deep neural networks, performing quantitative data analysis, and collecting and analyzing data through periodic literature searches and specialized skills. The incumbent will also participate in manuscript writing, assist with grant applications, and contribute to lab maintenance.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Proficiency in machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, transformers).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy, CuPy).
• Hands-on experience in training large neural networks (generative models).
• Hands-on experience in medical image reconstruction.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Proficiency in Unix-like operating systems.
• Background in MRI physics (preferred).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work productively and independently in a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide mentorship to junior members of the laboratory.
• Interest in applying reinforcement learning to MRI systems.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Computational Science
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Closely related field (Doctoral Degree or foreign equivalent)

Other:
• Hands-on experience in training large neural networks (generative models).
• Hands-on experience in medical image reconstruction.
