**Job Description**
A postdoctoral scholarship is available in the Genander lab at the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Karolinska Institutet. This project focuses on understanding the development and maintenance of epithelial tissues and how alterations in progenitor cells and their environment contribute to disease. The advertised research aims to characterize the functional relevance of progenitor-to-tumor cell niche transitions, specifically focusing on the esophageal epithelium and investigating how local cell architectures change during tumor initiation.
