**Job Description**
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Susan Waltz within the Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The successful candidate will work under the mentorship of one of eleven preceptors, focusing on mechanistic studies of signaling pathways that regulate cancer cell survival and tumor growth. Research areas include biophysics of membrane fusion, autophagy, tyrosine kinase signaling, GTP metabolism, promyelocytic leukemia gene function, aberrant TGFbeta signaling, epigenetic and translation control, and translational mechanisms of therapeutic resistance in various cancers.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Appropriate field or discipline (Doctoral Degree, PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree by date of hire)

Experience Required:
• In-depth knowledge of specialized field, process or discipline.

• May require experience with specialized software programs.
• Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or an individual granted status as a “protected person” under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) due to grant stipulations.
