**Job Description**
The laboratory of Dr. Susan Waltz in the Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine currently has a postdoctoral fellow position open. The postdoctoral candidate will work under the mentorship of one of 11 preceptors, focusing on diverse areas of research including mechanistic studies of signaling pathways in cancer, biophysics of membrane fusion, tyrosine kinase signaling, oncogenic signaling and metabolism, cervical cancer prevention, GTP metabolism, promyelocytic leukemia gene tumor suppressive function, TGFbeta signaling, growth factor and receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, epigenetic and translational control, and therapeutic resistance biomarkers in cancer.

• In-depth knowledge of specialized field, process or discipline.
• May require experience with specialized software programs.
**Qualifications**
Required:
• Doctoral Degree in the appropriate field or discipline, or the recognized terminal degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD) by date of hire.

• US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or an individual granted status as a “protected person” under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) due to grant stipulations.
