**Job Description**
The Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) at Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory invites applications from recent or soon-to-be Ph.D. graduates for postdoctoral fellowships in astrophysics and cosmology. These positions offer opportunities to develop innovative and independent research programs using computational, experimental, observational, and theoretical approaches. KIPAC’s existing research programs span various areas including dark energy, cosmic dynamics, galaxy formation, inflation physics, dark matter searches, multi-messenger astrophysics, and studies of black holes, compact objects, and other astrophysical sources. KIPAC members are involved in numerous experiments and survey projects such as the Vera C. Rubin Observatory LSST, DESI, Euclid, CMB experiments, dark matter studies (LZ, SuperCDMS, ADMX), gamma-ray/X-ray observatories (Fermi, NuSTAR, IXPE), and R&D for future projects. KIPAC offers excellent laboratory facilities, significant computational resources, and opportunities for cross-disciplinary activities with Stanford Data Science, Human Centered AI, and the SLAC Machine Learning Program.
