The Ting Zhang Lab in the Department of Molecular Microbiology at WashU Medicine seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to investigate the functions of bile metabolites induced by bacterial infection. The research aims to advance the understanding of how infection-stimulated bile metabolites influence intestinal defense mechanisms and disease outcomes. This work involves a multidisciplinary approach, including next-generation sequencing, bacterial genetics, host genetics, and metabolomics.
