**Job Description**
The Lack Laboratory at the Vancouver Prostate Centre is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to develop novel single-cell functional genomic approaches to identify therapeutic vulnerabilities in prostate cancer. This project integrates cutting-edge single-cell technologies and functional genomics to dissect mechanisms of treatment resistance and lineage plasticity in advanced prostate cancer, within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team with strong clinical ties and international collaborations.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in functional genomics, CRISPR-based screening, or single-cell technologies.
• Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing library prep and tissue culture models.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with prostate cancer models or hormone-dependent cancers.
• Familiarity with single-cell data analysis pipelines (e.g., Seurat, Scanpy, ArchR).

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Molecular Biology
• Genomics
• Cancer Biology (or a related field)

**Experience**
Other:
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Prior exposure to high-throughput screening or pooled genetic perturbation methods.
