Postdoctoral Fellowship: Research to support the elimination of onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis

**Job Description**
This Postdoctoral Fellowship at WashU Medicine in St. Louis, supported by the Gates Foundation, aims to develop new treatments for filarial infections within the DOLF project. The successful applicant will conduct laboratory research on helminth parasites, assist in clinical trials for river blindness treatment, and manage large data sets, contributing to the elimination of onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis. The position is based in St. Louis but requires travel to clinical trial sites in Africa.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Experience in data science.
• Experience in infectious diseases and/or microbiology/parasitology.
• Knowledge in clinical trials (helpful).
• Knowledge in histology (helpful).
• Knowledge in worm morphology and/or the epidemiology of NTDs (helpful).
• Good oral communication skills.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals in a field relevant to the project.
