**Job Description**
The Department of Agroecology at Aarhus University is offering a 2-year postdoctoral position focusing on the influence of phytochemistry and wheat cultivar mixtures on plant-microbiome interactions. The role involves studying root microbiomes to understand the effects of specialized root metabolites and cultivar mixing on microbiomes, and vice versa, their impact on plant performance and suppression of root parasitic nematodes. The work integrates metabarcoding data with plant performance, metabolome, and transcriptome data from field and greenhouse experiments.
